Kevin Durant and Draymond Green will sit down and talk about their feud
In 2016, following a devastating loss with Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant joined the Warriors and went to three straight NBA Finals — winning two NBA Championships and back-to-back Finals MVPS — as a member of one of the most recent dynasties.
In the 2018-19 season, 1 removed from being the champions, Draymond Green — late in a game vs. the Clippers — stole a rebound from Durant and accelerated down the court — eventually fumbling the basketball. The game led to overtime with both of the stars furious on their respective ends. The players were separated by their teammates Andre Iguodala and DeMarcus Cousins just before the altercation escalated.
And from there on out, their chemistry ended up cutting ties. KD then suffered from an Achilles injury that had him sidelined until his 2nd, but first playing season with Brooklyn. Durant confessed that Draymond was a big reason of why he departed from the Warriors.
The discussion labeled ‘Chips’ an abbreviation of championships will air on August 18th on Bleacher Report. Both will speak on their perspective of their championships and their feud on the Warriors. Fans will look to see if a reuniting friendship occurs.
